What We Expect
* Assist in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Prepare and cook meals as per the menu and special requests while adhering to food safety standards.
* Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and skill development.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan menus and develop new recipes.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock rotation.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist with catering for events and private functions as required by the restaurant.
* Handle any customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Participate in the scheduling of kitchen staff and workflow management.
