This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and salary of £36,745 for 40 hours work week.
As a DeputyManager / Home Manager, you will support the management and staff team to deliver high-quality care to young people, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role is ideal for a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker seeking to progress their career.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading shifts and ensuring the implementation of care plans
- Assisting the manager in ensuring the safety and well-being of all young people
- Supporting and mentoring staff, ensuring high standards of care
- Maintaining relationships with families and ensuring service users' emotional and social needs are met
- Encouraging and supporting young people to make independent choices while keeping them safe
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Deputy Manager, Children's Home Manager, Home Manager, Care Manager, Senior Support Worker or in a similar role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
- Sound understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Ideally have NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or working towards it.
- Good IT and communication skills.
