Job summary Our Neurodevelopment Pathway are looking at recruiting a new band 6 Neurodevelopment Pathway Practitioner, full time on a permanent basis. We are a supportive team who works very closely with a number of other services to complete multi-agency assessment to support, diagnose and signpost children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental difficulties. We are seeking a practitioner who is passionate about providing excellent care to children & young people and their families during their journey on the Neurodevelopment Pathway. We are looking for a practitioner, who ideally has NHS experience, to work alongside our multi disciplinary team, who has experience and knowledge of working with children & young people with neurodevelopment conditions. The practitioner will have knowledge & experience of triaging complex referrals and contributing to complex case discussion within a multi disciplinary team. Main duties of the job To work as an integral part of the Neurodevelopmental pathway team. To support the development and implementation of a diagnostic pathway for children with neurodevelopmental difficulties. To provide leadership, support and specialist advice and consultancy/support to colleagues on neurodevelopmental issues / referral processes. To complete specialist assessments in order to gather and collate key information to contribute to the diagnostic process. To take a key role in feeding back to young people and their families the outcome of their multi agency assessment. To complete observations and assessments using assessment tool ie ADOS for children and young people open to the Neurodevelopmental Pathway.
