Main duties of the job
As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) with TALKWORKS, you will play a key role in delivering high-volume, low-intensity interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Using evidence-based CBT approaches, your work will include guided self-help, telephone or video consultations, workshops, and group sessions.
This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires excellent organisational skills to manage a busy workload while maintaining high standards of care. Those who succeed in this environment are reflective, self-aware practitioners who prioritise their wellbeing and use strategies to build also work collaboratively, contributing to the positive, supportive culture we value within our team.
You will work in a hybrid model, providing care in person at clinics, GP surgeries, and community venues across Devon, as well as remotely. Flexibility, inclusivity, and adaptability are essential, as you will support individuals from diverse backgrounds, often with the assistance of interpreters.
Attendance at regular supervision, reflective practice, and professional development activities such as CPD training and team away days is required to meet professional registration standards and ensure you are supported in your role.
