Gloucestershire Active UK Enhanced Vetting Required An opportunity to join the established team of a leading global Defence company that has a significant presence in the UK Security and Intelligence space. The DevOps Engineers work in a highly collaborative environment that embraces the latest technologies and are focused on delivering mission-critical solutions to key customers that contribute to safeguarding national security. The Role The DevOps Engineer will work with other engineers to ensure that development processes are established and followed, build development tools and infrastructure and automate development processes whilst ensuring that systems are secured safely. Deployment of applications and software will include a mix of cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premise solutions depending on the business area and requirements. Requirements The DevOps Engineer will be a good communicator, comfortable working as part of a team, familiar working with Agile / Scrum methodologies and cloud technologies alongside experience in building and deploying CI/CD pipelines. The DevOps Engineer will also have experience in automation and integration tools (Jenkins, Concourse), Infrastructure as code (eg. Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet) and knowledge of scripting languages and containerisation. Location Gloucestershire office. Hybrid working with min. 3 days per week on site which may fluctuate due to nature of the work. Clearance Enhanced Developed Vetting is essential for this role.
