About the Role:
You will deal with a variety of Commercial and Residential property matters providing a varied and interesting caseload.
Key Responsibilities and areas of law
• Managing a broad range of commercial and residential property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and landlord and tenant disputes.
• Providing expert legal advice to landlords, tenants, property developers, and investors on all aspects of commercial and residential property law.
• Drafting and negotiating leases, tenancy agreements, and other property-related documents.
• Advising on property transactions and conducting property due diligence.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations affecting property transactions.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and other professionals.
About You :
• A qualified Solicitor / Chartered Conveyancer / Chartered Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE in commercial and residential property, landlord, and tenant law.
• Proven experience in handling a varied caseload involving property transactions, leases, and disputes.
• Experience of Case Management Systems, Laserforms and the Land Registry Portal are essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to non-legal clients clearly and concisely.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Sound knowledge of property law, including the latest legal developments and industry trends.
• A proactive and client-focused approach to work.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
• CQS accreditation experience preferred.
• Experience of Infotrack preferred
• Experience dealing with high-value property transactions or complex landlord-tenant matters.
• Knowledge of planning, development, or property finance would be an advantage.
