Our client, an award winning global brand based in Northumberland, is looking to strengthen their online trading team with the addition of an Ecommerce Trading Executive. This role will require someone who is competent and capable of growing the portfolio of online market places. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of these market places including merchandising, optimising listings and implementing seasonal marketing campaigns. This position is crucial for optimising sales and profitability through clear commercial planning and strategy.
Role and responsibilities:
Manage, expand and optimise market places on a day to day basis.
Optimise product listings to the highest standard with meticulous attention to detail.
Constantly review gaps in the product range to identify new opportunities.
Work closely with the digital team to implement sales plans, pricing and product information.
Maximise the utilisation of all marketing tools (eg; PPC advertising)
Ensure customer service, feedback and product rankings are optimised.
Analyse product sales and channel performance with the commercial and digital teams.
Identify, analyse and propose innovations, promotions, efficiencies and new product opportunities to grow sales.
Build, manage and evolve relationships with key online trading accounts.
Monitor and track competitor activity and pricing. Skills and experience:
Fluent in German – essential.
Work experience in sales, retail or commercial marketing.
Ideally a digital marketing or business related degree or qualification.
Good general level of education in core numeracy, literacy and ICT subjects.
A good level of IT skill and the ability to multitask.
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Highly self motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
Passionate about identifying and capitalising on opportunities to drive company growth.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
