As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you'll play a key role in leading statutory financial reporting, supporting external audits, and ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to best practices across tax, legal, and operations. This role provides a great chance to grow your technical expertise and contribute to the company’s continued success in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing high-quality financial reports, including Financial Statements and High Yield Bond reports for the International Stock Exchange.
* Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements for Group subsidiaries.
* Manage external audit processes, ensuring smooth audits and fostering strong relationships with auditors.
* Identify and resolve financial reporting issues, preparing technical papers to support decisions.
* Deliver critical information to external parties (FCA, HMRC, regulators), ensuring compliance with Financial Control Framework and supporting strategic projects.
What you’ll bring
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:
* ACA/ACCA qualified with expertise in IFRS for statutory financial statement preparation.
* In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards specific to Financial Services companies.
* Strong communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including external auditors.
* Confident in challenging assumptions and driving improvement.
* Resilient, highly organized, and adept at meeting tight deadlines while managing risks and controls.
