Are you a fully qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with SEND/SEMH and EBSA needs?
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurture Teacher to provide one-on-one support to children with SEND, SEMH difficulties, and Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver bespoke one-on-one educational support for children with SEND/SEMH and EBSA needs.
2. Develop and implement individual learning plans in collaboration with parents, schools, and other professionals.
3. Provide support across a range of settings, including local libraries, community hubs, and occasionally within the student's own home.
4. Adopt a nurturing, patient approach to teaching, tailoring support to meet each student's emotional and educational needs.
5. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Fully qualified teacher (PGCE and QTS or equivalent).
2. Experience working with children with SEND/SEMH and EBSA needs is highly desirable.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and effectively manage your own schedule.
5. Patient, empathetic approach to teaching, with excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Willingness to travel across Wigan, Merseyside, and Liverpool.
