People and Culture Assistant
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £22,681 per annum with incremental progression to £24,533
The Role

As a People & Culture Assistant, you will provide vital support to their Professional Services and Academic Institutes, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and effective People & Culture services across the University.
Your role will involve liaising with a wide range of people within, and outside, the University and includes:
1. Co-ordinating staff recruitment (using their Stonefish e-Recruitment portal)
2. Conducting pre-employment checks
3. Administration of data (using their ResourceLink HRIS system)
4. Drafting employment contracts
5. Being an initial point of contact for People & Culture queries
Skills and Qualifications
* You will have experience of working in an administrative role and must be able to demonstrate awareness of data protection and information security best practice.
* With a professional approach to providing high levels of customer service, you will be expected to establish and develop working relationships with recruiting managers.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential in addition to the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team.
