This is a unique opportunity to work within 3 areas in the Commercial department: CAD, Estimating and Stock & Forecasting. You will complete a Level 3 Business Administration qualification via Steadfast over 18 months. You would meet with the trainer once a month. Starting rate of £6.80ph. Key Areas of Responsibility Training to be provided in the following areas: Understand carton constructional design Good knowledge of folding box board substrates To be able to work with manufacturing to affect bespoke design opportunities for the Coveris Group To support the business in achieving design brief OTIF (On time in Full) Support CAD/NPD Function ensuring resource is appropriately managed and value added To support the commercial team requirements with good communicating and attention to detail Work within WebCenter to manage briefs and communicate with CAD service – Pricing customers. Support and further develop CAD workflow through the WebCenter digital platform Ensure that production sign off procedures are maintained in regards to, machine limits, run speeds, waste levels and general in alignment with estimating, value engineer products to “best” planning insuring commercial effectiveness. Ensure that the “housekeeping” is up to date Support the HR Policies driving and embedding the Coveris Values as communicated Understand and drive best practice in the stocks process from Material forecasting, MOQ, Stock sheets, Production/Planning wheels and warehouse. Are we running the right volume at the right time? Understand ordering patterns and identify efficiency gains from stock controlling erratic lines Review quarterly demand and understand seasonal spikes in demand Maintain weekly reports showing stock holdings and usages by customer Ability to liaise and communicate with all relevant departments in a positive and helpful manner Inputting and amending Master estimate and also amending production estimates where required on MIS System Communicating with other department to ensure all items required for Master Estimate as set up correctly as required Run Daily Commercial review ensuring all that all Orders are priced at expected levels Ensure Quoting Summary spreadsheet is updated and maintained Liaise, and communicate fully, at all times with Department Manager and relevant personnel within the departmental framework Support the Commercial Department for daily estimating and ensure quotes are completed to agreed KPI levels.
