Deputy Parking Services Manager
Permanent, 37 hours per week
Salary NS9 £32,654- £34,314
We are now recruiting for a Deputy Parking Services Manager to assist in the delivery of the Council’s parking services function.
You will support the Parking Services Manager with the operational management of the Council’s commercial lorry park and public car parks. The role will include the planning and delivery of new parking provisions and operational development of the Parking Services Team.
You will help in the introduction of new parking technology to improve service delivery and provisions on car parks alongside working with partners to further expand the parking services management option to other car park operators, improving income budgets for the authority.
A requirement of the role is to work alongside other members of the Corporate Property team to promote health and safety awareness and compliance with procedures and legislation and in ensuring that the Council’s Financial Regulations and Contract Procedure Rules are adhered to at all times.
You must have strong interpersonal skills, plus the ability to communicate effectively within both professional and public forums and maintain a calm, tactful and professional demeanour in dealings with colleagues, stakeholders and the public.
