1.4 Learning Support ALN
Full time, fixed term until July 2026
Start date November 4th 2024
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the team as a 1.4 learning support assistant. The role will require working primarily in the Year 3-6 classroom supporting learners with ALN to access the curriculum and make good progress. The role is term time only.

• Is patient and caring
• Has experience of working with children aged 3-11
• Is passionate about inclusive education
• Has experience of supporting children with ALN
• Motivated, flexible, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to use their own initiative.
• Is resilient and happy to work outdoors
• Has undertaken further studies in areas of ALN, Trauma informed schools or willing to do so
• Able to work collaboratively with staff and be a good team player.
• Supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
• Professional always
• Willing to support the work of the federation to further improve pupil’s mental health and wellbeing

Ysgol Nercwys is part of the Nantlwys Federation. We are federated with Ysgol Nannerch, another small primary school near Mold. We are both rural Church schools and support one another effectively.
