Our client in Tewkesbury, who has over 15 years’ experience within the construction industry are recruiting for an Accounts and IT Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brand-new role created to support the finance department within an ever-growing successful business. The successful candidate will be working within a fast-paced busy environment, with a real team buzz You will be responsible for providing administrative and IT support through excellent working relationships and communication with the finance and project teams, providing support and assisting with the resolution of any problems effectively. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Function: -Processing purchase invoices for suppliers and subcontractors -Liaise with Contracts Team to ensure timely invoice approval -Raising purchase orders -Processing mid-month and month-end payment runs -Enter payments on to accounting software -CIS submissions to HMRC -Month end processes i.e. reconciling supplier accounts -General accounts admin -Answering calls to the business and assist clients and suppliers as required -Filing all approved & issued invoices, electronically IT Function: -Fielding IT related calls from internal staff -Troubleshooting software issues and escalating to IT if required-Assisting in network connectivity Candidate Attributes; -Previous administration experience-IT skills including troubleshooting and system administration -Attention to detail -Good verbal and written communication skills -Must be able to multitask and be pro-active -Excellent organisational skills Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (one hour lunch) Salary: Up to £30,000 22 days holiday Bank Holidays Life Insurance Cycle to work scheme potential to earn 5% annual bonus
