We are looking to appoint an individual who will provide effective leadership, support and management of a team that continually enhances the quality of pastoral care within a year group. You will work effectively with our students, providing an empathic and positive manner in supporting them. To be successful, you will ideally need to have a good pass in GCSE qualifications in English and maths, and it is essential that you have experience of working with secondary-aged students.

We are a highly respected and over-subscribed Catholic college that Ofsted found to be outstanding in its commitment to the social, moral and spiritual development of all its students. Our recent section 48 inspection found the college to have many other areas of outstanding practice.
The pay band for the role is Scale 6 (SCP 13 to 17), which is £28,126 to £30,060. The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £24,738,50 to £26,404.83 (under 5 years’ service) or £25,062.59 to £26,750.75 (over 5 years' service).
The hours of work for the role will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and this will be required term time plus five staff training days and one week in the school holidays (40 weeks in total).
