Puro Accountancy are delighted to be working with a reputable accounting firm, who provide a range of accounting and financial advisory services to businesses in the Stoke-on-Trent area. They are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team and help to deliver high-quality audit services to their clients.

Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements
* Plan and execute audit engagements, including leading audit teams and reviewing audit work papers and reports
* Communicate with clients to understand their business operations and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing them with timely and accurate advice
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling other services offered by the firm
* Assist with business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings
* Coach and mentor junior team members, providing them with feedback and guidance to help them develop their skills
Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 5 years' experience in audit practice
* Experience managing audit engagements from planning to completion
* Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as auditing standards and regulations
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex audit issues
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members
