The Role
We are looking for a seasoned sales professional to lead our sponsorship and partnership outreach. This is a consultative sales role: you’ll be speaking with companies and institutions who want to raise their profile and connect with our engaged, high-quality audience.
You’ll play a key role in shaping and selling bespoke content packages (e.g., Sponsorship of Content, Behind the Paper, Company Spotlights, Expert Interviews), banner ad campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and engage potential partners across medtech, pharma, research, VC, and academia
* Sell sponsorship packages for our core content formats
* Own the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing
* Collaborate with editorial and production teams to deliver partner goals
* Provide input on pricing strategy, packaging, and positioning
* Build long-term relationships with key clients
* Help develop case studies and reports that showcase results
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in B2B sponsorship or advertising sales (especially in media, publishing, or health/tech sectors)
* Strong understanding of the healthcare and/or life sciences space
* Comfortable selling high-value, consultative content solutions
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable using CRM tools and sales reporting processes
Nice to Have
* Existing network within healthtech, biotech, or medical publishing
* Experience with digital media or event partnerships
* Familiarity with AI/tech in health (not essential, but helpful)
