Kitchen Steward Hours: 23 hours per week (Must be able to work alternate weekends) Location: Oldbury Grange Nursing Home, Bridgnorth, WV16 5LW Our friendly team at our Nursing Home in Bridgnorth, are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Kitchen Steward to assist with delivering quality meals to our residents. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some experience within customer service or perhaps the development of a new career. As part of your role, you will be actively helping to ensure that our residents feel full and satisfied every day. Responsibilities of the Kitchen Steward As a Kitchen Steward; you will be taking an active role in serving food and beverages to residents in both their own rooms and in dining rooms. As well as ensuring eating surfaces are clean and tidy, you will also be responsible for serving morning coffee and afternoon tea to our residents as part of their social programs. Responsibilities: Preparing and serving food and beverages to residents. Ensuring kitchen equipment and utensils are tidied away after use Assisting residents with their menu choices Setting up dining rooms ready for food service in an attractive manner. Desirable Skills and Experience Here at Oldburyt Grange, we provide support for your role as Kitchen Steward from our friendly team. Previous experience within a health care setting is not essential; however, may prepare you better for the role.
