Job Title: KS2 SEN Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Greys Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide specialised support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student Deliver tailored teaching sessions to enhance academic progress and social skills development Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge and experience in supporting students with SEN Understanding of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Proven experience working with SEN students in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of the KS2 curriculum and educational frameworks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting students with SEN Additional training in specific interventions for SEN students All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
