This is a Part Time (18 hours a week), 6 months Fixed-Term Contract.
The location of this role is National where we offer hybrid working. You will be based in one of our following offices and from home - Newcastle, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Portsmouth (Fort Cumberland), and Cambridge.

What You Will Be Doing
The Strategy Manager is a fixed term contract tasked with driving the development of a new Income Generation Strategy for Historic England, working collaboratively with subject matter experts across the organisation. The role will give practical advice and influence new strategies where needed, achieving real impact by ensuring the organisation has a robust and effective strategy ecosystem.
As our Strategy Manager, you will support the Head of Strategic Planning and Director of Strategy and Business Development by driving the effective coordination, delivery, and communication of a range of strategically important initiatives and projects, bringing expert analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Who We Are Looking For
* Highly experienced in developing and implementing integrated strategies and/or project plans.
* Demonstrable experience of driving innovation and implementing new initiatives.
* Proven ability to deliver complex projects within short or fixed timeframes, demonstrating excellent time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong data literacy and numeracy skills, and experience interpreting and presenting qualitative and quantitative data with good attention to detail.
* Proven experience in planning and managing multiple complex priorities and projects.
* Influencing & Communicating Skills at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
* Strategic Thinking / Self-Motivation.
