Assistant HR Business Partner – Temporary Position

⏰ Hours: 37 per week (Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30)
📅 Contract: 24/02/2025 – 25/02/2026
💷 Pay: £16.10-£28.27
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join a dynamic team providing comprehensive HR support. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to develop their experience in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Provide HR advice on employee relations, attendance management, pensions, contracts, and organisational change
✔ Support managers and head teachers with employment matters, helping them make informed decisions
✔ Assist with attendance management, working collaboratively with Occupational Health to reduce absence levels
✔ Compile and analyse workforce data, producing reports to support recruitment and workforce planning
✔ Coordinate recruitment campaigns and support the development of a corporate Recruitment & Retention Strategy
✔ Assist in the implementation of a new corporate recruitment system, ensuring full engagement across the organisation
✔ Work closely with HR Business Partners to provide an integrated HR service
Essential Criteria:
✅ CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
✅ Associate CIPD membership (or willingness to work towards it)
✅ Strong analytical skills to identify trends and inform decision-making
✅ Excellent communication and relationship management skills
✅ Knowledge of employment law and equalities legislation
✅ Experience in organisational change, recruitment, and data analysis
✅ Proficiency in IT systems and HR software
