WRAP AROUND CARE PLAYWORKER
Monday to Friday (Term time only. Holiday work available) at Primary School in the Leicester area.
Holiday Entitlement
Overtime is available in school holidays (Holiday Clubs run during half terms and for the 6-week summer holiday, but not over the Christmas period).

Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure, and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.
Premier Education successfully runs full Wraparound provision in primary schools across the country. Our Premier Wraparound centres are Ofsted registered and can provide high-quality out of school care for the parents. With this in mind, we are looking for an outstanding applicant with experience to lead one of our venues.

The successful candidate will need to:
1. Have good literacy and numeracy skills, able to support children in reading, writing, and maths as they will be allocated time to continue with their learning during the session.
2. Be able to prepare healthy snacks for the children.
3. Participate in a range of activities with the children during sessions both inside and outside.
4. Be able to assist with the planning of activities, supporting and engaging with children during the sessions.
5. Have a general understanding of play work principles and seven characteristics of learning.
Desirable:
1. Appropriate Level 2 (or above) qualification (Child Care related).
2. Experience of working within a play-based setting.
3. Ability to work on own initiative.
4. Appropriate child protection training.
5. Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
6. Food Hygiene Certificate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract.
Pay: £6,656.00-£16,931.20 per year.
