As an SEN Teacher, you’ll be part of a team focused on delivering tailored learning experiences to students across a range of abilities and needs. Key Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons that cater to the varied needs of SEN students.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, growth, and independence.
* Working closely with support staff, parents, and specialists to develop tailored strategies and ensure a consistent approach to each student’s unique needs.
* Using innovative teaching methods and resources to foster engagement and enjoyment in learning.
* Monitoring and assessing student progress and maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers.
Key Requirements:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in SEN education.
* Proven experience working in an SEN school or with SEN students, with a thorough understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build supportive relationships with students, staff, and families.
* A positive, flexible approach, with a passion for providing high-quality support and education.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
