Junior CAD Designer
Location: Barnsley

Hours of Work:
1. Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 (45 minutes lunch)
2. Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 (1 hour lunch)
You must live in a commutable distance of Barnsley to be considered for this position as it is office based.
Qualifications:
In order to fulfil the role of Junior CAD Designer, you must be a graduate from a Product Development, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture course. No prior work experience is required as this is an entry-level position; a full induction training program has been designed specifically for you to gain an understanding of the CAD software and products. A University leaver or someone with just a small amount of experience would fit into this Junior CAD Designer position perfectly (also known as a Design Planner).

Key Responsibilities:
1. The vast majority of your time will be spent producing new or amended layouts using Fusion 20:20 Software.
2. Answering the telephone, dealing with internal and external customers.
3. Liaising with other members of the department, your Team Leader, and your Manager.
4. Keeping up to date with new procedures and products.
Requirements:
1. Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels.
2. Self-motivated and willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
3. Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines.
4. Computer literate.
You will also have:
1. Excellent organisational and written and numerical skills.
2. Excellent timekeeping and time management skills.
3. A degree from a Product Development, Interior Design, or Interior Architecture course.

1. Flexible working hours after 3 months of service.
2. 30 days holiday per year including statutory days, increasing to 33 days after 6 years of continuous employment with one extra day for each year of service.
