Role Overview Management of commercial aspects for your dedicated sites across Yorkshire Monitor project costs through the life of the scheme and adhere to budgetary restraints, producing monthly costs and values Maintain accurate records and project costs Preparation, submission and agreement of monthly applications for payment Ensure cost control is maintained Administer contracts (NEC/JCT/Bespoke) efficiently Measure and value works carried out on-site with absolute perfection and detail Procurement, assessment, certification and reconciliation of sub-contractor applications Track changes to design and capture variations Review progress against programme Cost value reconciliation on schemes Assist in the tendering process Provide contract support to Contracts and Site Managers Report and upload valuation, final payment and accurate MOS value Role Requirements Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field Proven success as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civil Engineering sector with at least 5 years experience Strong contractual knowledge (NEC/JCT) Knowledge of cost control methodologies Proficient in Microsoft packages with a strong focus on Excel Personal Requirements Strong analytical & numerical skills Collaborative mindset A keen interest in civil engineering Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple tasks A proactive approach to problem-solving Package £45,000 – £50,000 per annum 25 days holiday (Increasing by 1 day per year of service) Pension Company Laptop/Phone Company vehicle Access to EV Charging Health Insurance Volunteering policy opt-in Training and development opportunities
