Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring to students preparing for their GCSE exams
* Develop tailored lesson plans to address individual learning needs
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning experience
* Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student progress
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects
* Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field
* Experience working with Looked After Children (LAC)
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule. Must be able to travel to students' homes or educational institutions within the Colchester area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
