SEN Teacher Location Southampton Contract: Full-time/ Part-time Salary: £110 - £180 per day If you are an experienced SEN Teacher then this is your opportunity to shine. GSL Education is looking for a passionate SEN Teacher (Special Education Needs) for a ASD school for children aged 7-16 with Autism, ADHD and SEMH. This is an outstanding school with a great reputation, only been open 3.5 years. Expertise in Math and English would be preferable. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE UK QTS AND UK TEACHING EXPERIENCE. Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher: Create and deliver personalised learning plans for students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external professionals. Expertise in teaching Math and English. Assess and monitor students’ progress, reporting regularly. Manage challenging behaviour with effective strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development for SEN practices. Requirements for a SEN Teacher: Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS). Experience in teaching Math/English to SEN students, preferably in schools. Strong knowledge of SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding. Excellent communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK. Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
