About the Role
As our Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for managing, creating, and optimising content across our social media platforms. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to engage, grow, and nurture our online communities.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
* Develop, curate, and schedule engaging posts across social media platforms.
* Implement social media campaigns aligned with company goals to drive brand awareness and engagement.
* Assist in planning and managing paid social campaigns to boost reach and conversions.
* Work with internal teams and external partners to align messaging.
Community & Partnership Engagement
* Respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster relationships and brand loyalty.
* Monitor brand sentiment and handle negative feedback professionally.
* Engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand presence.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
* Monitor and report on key metrics, including engagement, reach, sentiment, and conversions.
* Stay updated on social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities.
* Test new formats, trends, and platform features to enhance engagement.
What We’re Looking For
* 2-3 years of experience maintaining social media platforms and communities.
* Proficiency with social media platforms, including an understanding of their algorithms, trends, best practices, and platform-specific features.
* Basic graphic design skills, video editing knowledge, and copywriting & storytelling skills for engaging content.
* Understanding of social media KPIs, analytics tools, and the ability to interpret data and optimise campaigns based on insights.
* Ability to set up, manage, and optimise paid campaigns using platform-specific social media ad accounts.
* Understanding of hashtags, keywords, and post optimisation to maximise SEO potential and visibility for social media content.
* Experience fostering & engaging with online communities and influencers.
* Ability to handle negative feedback professionally, and experience with reputation management & crisis response.
* Educated to degree level.
