As a support worker or teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in nurturing creativity and developing students' abilities in a dynamic sensory setting. You will be responsible for improving hand-eye coordination, speech and language skills, social and communication abilities, independence, and cognitive processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore various subjects, such as cooking, art, and music.

* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
* Rate of Pay: £83.85 for a 6.5 hour day

Role Overview:
As a support worker/teaching assistant at our special needs school, you will engage students through dynamic activities, including music, art, physical education, and cooking. Your focus will be on providing personalised support and improving students' communication and hand-eye coordination. You will also assist with sensory integration in the classroom and collaborate with teachers to assess students' abilities and progress. Your contributions will help create a nurturing and inclusive environment that aligns with the school's principles and policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
