Position: National Account Executive
Location: York (Hybrid working – approx. 2 flexible days a week in our York office)

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join the team as a National Account Executive on a Top 5 grocery account. We are looking for a proactive, results-focused, and highly driven sales professional to help us achieve our ambitious, exciting, and innovative plans.
A day in the life of a National Account Executive …
The National Account Executive plays a key role within the Nestlé Sales Team and is responsible for supporting the development and management of share-winning profitable customer plans.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Own and agree the customer baselines with Sales Analyst at the required customer/EAN level as a base for building the plan.
* Own and develop promotional plans including revenue, trade spend, and promotion activation details.
* Develop and continuously improve customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and investment plans.
* Support the timely and accurate external execution of Customer Plans.
* Indirect leadership of Category and Marketing teams for best in class strategies and activation.
* Request completion of relevant customer admin with the Sales Admin Team.
* Support with the timely preparation and input into all relevant internal planning processes.
* Complete promotional pre- and post-evaluation and optimization throughout the year.
* Support with the management of trade spend actuals.
* In-store Execution - Timely communication with field ops to enable field teams at the point of purchase.
What will make you successful
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have some commercial experience within the FMCG sector. You will be motivated to be part of a team, build great relationships, and continuously improve.
You will also:
* Be proficient in Excel and comfortable using other Microsoft Office programs.
* Be naturally analytical and able to demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial and financial situations.
* Have forecasting, sales, and negotiation experience.
* Be comfortable working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
* Have strong communication skills.
* Be organized and adept at planning and prioritizing workloads.
* Be naturally curious and able to solve problems.
