Job Title: Service Centre Lead Operative
Winncare, a company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring mobility and care solutions, is seeking a qualified and experienced Service Centre Lead Operative to join our team in Blackburn.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will oversee daily operations within the Service Centre, leading a team responsible for the cleansing, assembly, and modification of medical devices, as well as ensuring dispatch and quality checks are completed to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the servicing and maintenance team to ensure excellent service delivery to all customers.
2. Organise and schedule workload to optimize resource utilization and coverage.
3. Collaborate with the wider team to maintain product quality, achieve cost efficiencies, and meet KPIs.
4. Contribute to process improvements and uphold high standards within production and manufacturing operations.
5. Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations, policies, and future plans.
6. Ensure all work complies with ISO procedures.
7. Perform additional tasks as qualified and required.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in supervising and leading service operators and technicians.
* Attention to detail, flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive work ethic.
* Background in medical device production; electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications are advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Organized, tidy, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
* Possession of a UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
