Job Description:
As a Senior Fleet Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with high-value clients. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying strategic opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance fleet performance, safety, and compliance. This role requires a proactive leader who can combine exceptional customer relationship management with a deep understanding of fleet operations and technology.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Account Leadership:
Take full ownership of a portfolio of high-value accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and delivering measurable results.
Develop and execute strategic plans to cross-sell and upsell Simplicity Group’s full suite of fleet solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
Leverage fleet performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, presenting actionable recommendations to clients.
Maintain a strong focus on client retention through proactive engagement, regular performance reviews, and exceptional service delivery.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities within your existing base, contributing to overall team sales targets.
Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and supporting the broader sales and account management team in achieving shared goals.
2. Industry Thought Leadership:
Represent Simplicity Group as an expert in fleet management, participating in industry events and contributing to thought leadership initiatives.
3. Technology Advocacy:
Stay informed about market trends and advancements in fleet technology to position Simplicity Group as a trusted advisor to clients.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in senior account management or sales, preferably within the fleet management or B2B technology sectors.
2. Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales and retention targets.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
5. Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills.
6. Proficient in CRM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. In-depth knowledge of fleet management solutions, telematics, or vehicle CCTV systems is highly desirable.
8. A collaborative and results-driven mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
