This is an exciting role, working in a fast paced working environment, within a well-established, multi-disciplinary team. The crisis and home treatment teams offer a high quality assessment and home treatment service as an alternative to hospital admission, to individuals experiencing acute mental health crisis.
As a service we are looking for individuals who are genuinely warm and engaging and focussed on client / customer satisfaction.
Secondment opportunities / fixed team contracts for up to 12 months or permanent contracts are available. We also offer full time and part time working.

Main duties of the job
1. To provide first line assessments of people experiencing acute mental health difficulties and act as gatekeepers to acute admissions.
2. To be able to rapidly assess people with mental health problems whom are vulnerable to hospital admission.
3. To provide specialist crisis assessments focusing on hospital at home.
4. To co-ordinate the Crisis and Home Treatment Team on a shift by shift basis, acting as Duty Worker to triage referrals, plan the shifts activities and team accordingly.
5. To participate in team MDMs.
