Requirements:
- We are looking for experienced Cloud Engineers with the following skills:
- Proficiency in a range of AWS services and a commitment to staying informed about the latest releases.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
- Understanding of networking concepts and their application in software-defined networking in the cloud.
- Experience with container orchestration systems, such as Kubernetes, ECS, or OpenShift.
- Proficiency in scripting in at least one language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- AWS certifications are desired but not essential; we can provide opportunities for training and certification.
Responsibilities:
- As a Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Design and build cloud-native architectures.
- Deploy resources using Terraform or CDK.
- Manage and design infrastructure creation.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Create exemplar implementation patterns for projects (e.g., standard Puppet scripts for creating AWS servers).
- Manage software configuration for projects, including the source repository.
- Leverage AWS security features and ensure security best practices with developers.
- Senior Engineers will have opportunities to lead teams or individuals.
