Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Duties are primarily Locksmith responsibilities and will require the candidate to have the ability to install, repair and maintain various types of locking and non-locking hardware (Keyed and Combination), GSA Security containers, and understand Master Key Systems and keying hierarchy. The candidate will also need a working knowledge of Access Control, Intruder Alarm and CCTV systems. • Technician must have the ability to: - install, repair/replace varied locking and non-locking hardware following all required NFPA/ UK Fire Regulations and ADA/ Equality Act 2010 standards. - create and maintain master key systems. - pin all lock cylinders to the appropriate master key system and cut/duplicate keys as required. - maintain accurate record of all Lock cylinder pinning and associated keys. - research appropriate hardware to suite given applications for procurement purposes. - perform non-destructive lock opening. - support the on-site Access Control, Intruder alarm and CCTV systems. - follow all required Health and safety requirements set out by the company and associated laws of both the US and UK. - maintain records of works carried out. - safely maneuver safes and other heavy items. • Technician must be capable of creation/management of maintenance activity requests, risk assessment and related safety documents, co-ordination with stakeholders for any disruption to work environments and regular reports to be generated and presented to the leadership team. • Technician may be required to work outside in inclement weather to ensure the security of the facility. • Hours of operation are day shift Monday through Friday with the additional on-call rotation. • Required participation in on-call status rotation with two hour response • Other duties as assigned Intel• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and no required years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4)years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Professional Locksmith certification • GSA Safe and Vault Technicians Certification • GAS Safe and Vault Inspectors Certification • Certification by Associated Locksmiths of America or equivalent. • Proficient with hand and power tools • Basic computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft programs, including but not limited to, Excel and word. • Working knowledge of Intruder Alarm, Access Control and CCTV Systems. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Solid verifiable, directly related work experience• Must possess a clearance (or ability to obtain and maintain) at the TS/SCI access level, and have favorably completed a government-issued polygraph • Applicants must be in possession of a valid passport as work will be required inside and outside of CONUS • The U.S. Government customer requires that United States citizens under consideration for employment at the Rainy location, OCONUS, United Kingdom under a Department of Defense (DoD) contract as well as their spouse/domestic partner and any dependents ages 5yrs and above who will be accompanying them, complete a Behavioral Health Evaluation (BHE) by a doctoral-level (i.e., PhD, PsyD, or MD) behavioral health specialist (i.e., Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatrist) and be deemed “Qualified/Approved” before authorization can be granted to the Candidate Contractor and their family, to relocate to the United Kingdom. If the results of the BHE performed on you, your spouse/domestic partner, and/or any dependents over the age of 5 accompanying you are deemed unacceptable by the U.S. Government customer, in its sole discretion, you will be denied access by the U.S. Government customer to the installation and, as a result, your offer of employment from Fluor will be rescinded.
