There’s lots to do We are now looking for a Principal Due Diligence Consultant to join our Advisory team. About our Principal Due Diligence Consultant role: This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied Due Diligence consultancy role. You will be using your experience to deliver Due Diligence projects for our clients, acting as Project Manager for Lenders Technical Advisor (LTA), Acquisition and Vendor DD projects across Wind, Solar PV, BESS and Hydrogen. You will also be helping to train and develop some of our team and helping us be the very best that we can be. Some of the things you may find yourself doing: Managing and delivering technical reports with opinions on risks and opportunities. Reviewing contracts, lease agreements, PPA agreements. Undertaking or coordinating reviews of technical project risks. Articulating and presenting findings, recommendations, and risk assessments relating to energy technology to senior management and clients, including lenders. Managing a team to analyse technical documentation, engineering designs, asset management, permits and contracts to identify critical technical aspects and interpret business plan recommendations. Leading or supporting proposals, including preparation and contributing on proposal go/no go decisions. Communicating with clients prior to and during proposal process to identify client needs and desires and then throughout projects. Assembling and managing project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, monitoring budgets and procuring necessary resources. Managing work on assigned projects to meet contract requirements, appropriate regulations, regulatory compliance and/or enforcement requirements, and industry best practice. Skills and experience required: Degree in E ngineering or other technical discipline. Significant professional experience in a renewable energy technical advisory role. Understanding of consulting, project delivery, and technical subject matter expertise. Demonstrable track record of managing and delivering due diligence work on UK based renewable energy projects, which have involved understanding energy generation, electrical grid infrastructure and connections, operations, and cost implications. Demonstrable track record in technical advice to project finance / M&A transactions for renewable infrastructure projects, involving lending banks and/or international investors. Demonstrable experience of client management including JVs and SPVs stakeholder management. Demonstrable experience of strategic planning and market developments in renewables industry. Demonstrable experience in commercial and project risk management and evaluation. Demonstrable experience of problem solving in a consultancy environment. The following are desirable: Renewable Energy qualifications are desirable but not essential. What is it like to work at Locogen?
