Location: UK based, remote - flexibility to travel and attend London office.
Armis is seeking a UK-based Press Officer for a role in its Corporate Communications department. This role will be responsible for the tactical execution of its international PR program which spans EMEA and Asia Pacific. This team member will also provide support to the wider communications function at Armis.
This role will report to the Senior Manager of PR based on the East Coast of the U.S. The new team member will work closely with the rest of the Global Communications team working remotely across Europe and the U.S.
The ideal candidate is a skilled cross-cultural communicator with a proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive international PR plans and strategies that will align with Armis’ goals to enhance its brand reputation.
Responsibilities
Media Relations:
* Support running the day-to-day management of the press office for incoming requests that pertain to the international PR program. This includes requests from the media and from the wider Armis team to support the newsroom function of the company, speaker bureau, awards submissions, event participation, etc.
* Drive the success of the international PR program, liaising with Armis’ EMEA and Asia Pacific PR agencies on tactical day-to-day activity.
* Proactively identify opportunities to secure media coverage and manage media inquiries effectively.
Content Development:
* Ensure that all communication materials maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging, with a balance of regional perspectives and key local considerations.
* Draft award submissions to drive Armis’ international award program as needed.
* Draft speaking proposals on behalf of the Armis spokesperson bench on occasion.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Collaborate regularly with internal departments, including marketing, advocacy, sales, and beyond to align PR and communication efforts with business objectives.
Measurement and Reporting:
* Monitor and report on the success of PR campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
Requirements:
* Reside in London or within close proximity of the city.
* Minimum of 3-4 years experience in PR.
* Knowledge and experience in a similar role within cybersecurity or tech, either in-house or at an agency.
* Proven experience in developing and executing successful international PR campaigns.
* Strong understanding of media relations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Culturally agile; Bilingual or multilingual a plus.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
* Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
* Ability to travel internationally to attend industry and corporate events on occasion.
