This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a high-performing team. As a Supplier Manager, you will be uniquely positioned to champion the development of your own Supplier base and Technology area, meeting our customer's ever-changing needs.
The Product Supplier Management Team is fundamental to our organisational strategy. We are instrumental across the whole of the UK and Ireland Organisation, ensuring we stay ahead of the game by offering sustainable solutions, value-added services, maintenance solutions, marketing, and much more.
What you will be doing:
You will play a pivotal role in helping the organisation reach our goal of becoming first choice for our Suppliers and Customers by leading the development of your own UK/IRE strategy.
We will look to you to collaborate with Key and Strategic Supplier Partners to deliver business plans to drive incremental sales and margin growth. You will also liaise with our customers to ensure we remain customer-centric.
You will work cross-functionally to align your strategy with our Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Inventory and Category teams. Your focus will be to extract as much value from our suppliers as possible to help support our Commercial, Product and Service offers.
What do I need to be successful?
* Experience in a Commercial and Supplier/Account Management role is essential, but we need someone with strong communication and influencing skills, someone who is curious and takes ownership with strong problem-solving ability.
* Relevant and applicable category-specific experience.
* The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Good judgment with evidence of business development and a mindset that sets you apart.
* A good analytical and commercial way of working.
* Operational problem solver and good process management capability.
