As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee a team of 4-5 Engineers, focusing on both technical and professional development. In addition to managing production assets, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of site buildings and infrastructure, making this a multifaceted and impactful role. You'll be instrumental in enhancing standardized ways of working, optimizing budgets, and ensuring asset reliability. Key Responsibilities Safety Leadership : Promote a robust safety culture, ensuring team compliance with health and safety standards and best practices. Team Development & Upskilling : Evaluate the current skills within the team, identify training needs, and implement upskilling initiatives to promote continuous growth. Asset & Infrastructure Reliability : Develop and oversee maintenance strategies to improve the reliability of production assets while managing site buildings and infrastructure. Budget Management : Manage and optimize the maintenance budget to control costs while meeting financial goals. Standardization : Enhance and standardize maintenance practices to ensure a consistent and efficient approach to equipment and infrastructure care. Continuous Improvement : Lead initiatives to improve processes, aiming for operational excellence and reduced downtime. Key Requirements Qualifications : Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or higher) and IOSH certification are essential. Experience : Proven track record in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, with experience in team leadership and asset management. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical maintenance and familiarity with infrastructure maintenance.
