Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Family Assessment Service
Location: Stafford, Staffordshire
Salary: £45,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Our client, a dedicated provider of family assessment services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join their team at a brand-new service in Staffordshire. The provider is committed to supporting families through comprehensive assessments, ensuring they receive the best possible care tailored to their needs. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the assessment aspects of the service, working alongside the leadership team to design and implement robust, fair assessments.
* Line manage and mentor a team of up to 2 Social Workers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve and develop training and induction programs for both staff and residents.
* Conduct direct assessments of families, maintaining a reduced caseload to focus on leadership duties.
* Prepare detailed court reports and evaluate assessments to the highest standard.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent diploma.
* Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
* Previous experience working in a residential family assessment centre, community assessment team, or similar environment.
* Strong report writing skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to manage your workload effectively.
* Proven experience in court report writing and working directly with parents and children.
