Charity Retail Till & Sort Room Volunteer
Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters
Our Gosport shop is very well supported by our local community and we are seeking more volunteers who can help us sorting the amazing array of donations and serving our customers. We have volunteer sessions available on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Could you help us once or more a week?
The nearest bus route and cycle track are less than a minute's walk from the shop and we also have a large free car park at the rear of the shop.
As a Charity Retail Till & Sort Room Volunteer in our Gosport Sue Ryder charity shop, you will be one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us to provide the best customer experience whilst playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
We offer a friendly, no obligation taster session so you can meet the team and see what the role involves!
Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.
The Role – Charity Retail Till & Sort Room Volunteer
• Donations and Gift Aid – meet donors, receive donations, sign donors up to Gift Aid
• Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock
• Greeting and helping customers
• Serving customers on the till (training provided)
• Maintaining shop displays, re-stocking,
• Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented.

As a Charity Retail Till & Sort Room Volunteer you will:

• Reliable
