Merchandiser Salary dependent upon experience Oldham - Hybrid Working Are you an experienced Merchandiser looking to work for a leading organisation that is going through an exciting period of growth? Do you have Advanced Excel skills? Our Client is a leading importer, supplying major retailers in the UK and due to their ever-expanding growth they now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to join their team. Responsibilities: To be responsible for forecasting and sales analysis for given range. Review historical sales figures and record lessons learned through the season Liaising with factories and Quality department to ensure shipment dates are met for ongoing and new lines. Recognising when issues need to be flagged up with the business to a senior management To manage your products and report any potential issues to the Manager in a timely manner. Manage the intake of stock within given stock turn targets. Manage own stock to maximise availability, whilst reducing discontinued exposure. Assisting with range planning through Ranking meetings. Plan initial buys for new lines. Managing the system to ensure products are set up correctly and factories have sufficient information. Collate and manage potential discontinued products. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working as a Merchandiser - preferably within retailer/importer environment with knowledge of forecasting and report writing. You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel as well as solid communication & articulation skills and have the ability to multi task.
