The following duties will be assigned:
7. Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
8. Deliver pre-prepared lessons, following the teacher's instructions and maintaining continuity of learning.
9. Provide guidance and support to students, helping them stay focused and engaged with their work.
10. Maintain good order and discipline among students, adhering to the school's behaviour policies.
11. Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as required by the school.
The prerequisites to be approved as a Cover Supervisor are listed below:
12. Provide 2 proven professional references
13. An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
14. Right to work in the UK
15. Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
16. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students.
17. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage different classroom environments.
18. Enthusiastic, patient, and able to inspire and motivate students.
19. Collaborative and able to work well within a team of educators.
