As Management Accountant, you’ll act as a finance lead for Turn IT On Ltd, supporting both local management and the group finance function. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director and operational teams to deliver insightful financial analysis and guide key business decisions. This role is full-time, based in Witney with hybrid working arrangements, requiring a minimum of three days a week in the office. You will report to both the Finance Director, Transforming Learning Group, and the Managing Director, turn IT on
Responsibilities
Management Accounts:
• Prepare TIO’s monthly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement.
• Deliver detailed P&Ls for operational teams and ensure accurate recognition of revenue from recurring contracts.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations including deferred and accrued income to ensure revenue from recurring contracts is recognised in line with group accounting policies.
• Manage WIP to ensure timely margin recognition. (IT equipment and project sales) to ensure gross margins are accurate and recognised in a timely manner.
• Reconcile intercompany balance
• Provide insightful monthly commentary on financial performance. Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Partner with the Managing Director and operational teams to create the annual budgets and reforecasts. including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecast, as well as any formal reforecasts required during the financial year.
• Present regular financial reports and insights to the Managing Director, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Offer financial expertise during senior leadership meetings to drive strategic decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Submit quarterly VAT returns.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets Register.
• Support the annual audit process and prepare required audit schedules.
• Enhance financial systems and practices while contributing to ad hoc projects as needed.
• Serve as a backup for the group Payroll Manager.

The role is offered on a full-time, full year basis and successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
