Job Title: Finance Business Partner

Overall Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an influential and high-profile Finance Business Partner to deliver financial and commercial support in a newly created role following a re-structure, focusing on Senior Living and Private Hospitals.
You will partner with the Business Director and Contract Director and have two direct reports. Your work will be critical to improving service levels, enhancing cost-effectiveness, and driving value in commercial activities.
This team presents significant growth opportunities with an active pipeline exceeding £100m and planned mobilisations as we expand into the healthcare sector. You will also oversee site integrations resulting from the recent acquisitions.

Key Accountabilities
* Business Partnering: Support the Business Director in commercial and operational decision-making, managing financial risks and opportunities.
* Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
* Financial Management: Prepare and review annual budgets, reforecasting, monthly management information, and business review packs.
* Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis, identify underlying performance, and develop KPIs with the wider finance team.
* Month-End Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely month-end journal entries and account closures.
* Financial Oversight: Manage contract amendments, service pricing, and investment appraisals, ensuring consistency with pricing strategies.
* Balance Sheet Reviews: Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Manual and maintain a deep understanding of SAP and Nexus.
* Working Capital: Promote improvements through accurate contract billing and proactive management of debt ledgers.
* Team Leadership: Line manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
* Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis: Provide proactive analysis to support decision-making.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Qualifications: CIMA/ACCA/ACA with 1+ years of post-qualification experience.
* Commercial Expertise: Strong commercial experience in large or multi-contract management environments.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Proven experience in preparing and reviewing budgets and forecasts in a matrix environment.
* Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise.
* Business Partnering: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with non-financial colleagues at senior levels.
* Problem Solving: Well-developed critical thinking with the ability to clearly present outcomes and influence stakeholders.
* Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced and uncertain environments.
* Decision Making: Results-oriented with the ability to take decisive action and withstand challenges.
* Team Player: Capable of working autonomously and within a team, with proven line management experience.
