Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Barnet team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children’s physical, emotional, and social skills.
Manage daily routines and ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to within the nursery setting.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support children's learning journeys.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for children.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery.
Experience
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Experience in managing behaviour positively and constructively is an advantage.
A minimum of Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent is MANDATORY
