Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Sales and Contracts Assistant for a company based in Colchester, Essex. Our client is a kitchen manufacturing company.
As a Sales and Contracts Assistant you will support the Sales & Contracts Manager working with local developers and retail showrooms to generate quotes, plans, CAD images, and orders, for sites and individual kitchens within a B2B kitchen manufacturer.
Sales and Contracts Assistant Job Role
* Building relationships with developers and retail customers
* Understanding individual requirements for customers, sites, and projects
* Generating CAD plans and renderings
* Generating quotes and orders
* Assisting in showroom, showing new and existing customers around, offering support and advice on products and design in whatever capacity required
* Supporting Directors and Sales & Contracts Coordinator
* Respond to incoming queries via phone and email
* Fully understand manufacturing process to effectively follow through projects
* Support office team members during busy periods and absence
* Liaise with factory team with reference to manufacturing queries
* Learn product knowledge and attend training sessions as required
* Resolve issues or changes with existing or upcoming orders
* Schedule deliveries
* General office duties
* Other duties that may arise over time to meet the needs of the business
Sales and Contracts Assistant Skills Required
* Able to manage workload and time efficiently
* Able to self-motivate with own deadlines, specifically regarding larger projects
* Able to work well with a range of people including staff, suppliers, customers and the general public
* Effective communication skills on the phone, email, and face to face
* Excellent design and planning skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Helpful to other team members in training or during absence
* Willing to learn constantly changing products
* ArtiCAD or other kitchen design software
* Kitchen design and planning
* Kitchen processing and manufacturing
* KBB general knowledge
Additional Information
* Full time, 40 hour a week, 9am-5.30pm inc. 30 min unpaid break, Monday to Friday.
* No evenings or weekends required
* 6 months’ probation
* 28 days holiday inc. 8 bank holidays, running Jan to Dec. We ask the team to reserve 5 of their days for Christmas where we have a 1 ½ week shutdown
* Government pension included
* Please note, we are a paper-based environment with a manufacturing team, therefore it’s essential the candidate is working from the office full time and therefore flexible working or working from home would be extremely difficult to arrange.
* Salary starting from £24,000+ depending on experience
