Job summary There is an exciting opportunity within the North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) for a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Enfield Acute Adult Services based in Enfield. The role is a based on Cumbria villa ward which is a 15-bedded mixed sex psychiatric transition and recovery ward based at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield. The post is available as the ward is an exciting new service within the Enfield acute mental health services. Main duties of the job Enfield Urgent Care Services consist of four in-patient wards at Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield (Dorset, Suffolk, Sussex and Devon) and the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). Dorset ward is an acute mixed-sex ward of 14 beds. Sussex ward is the acute male ward with 17 beds whilst Suffolk is the acute female ward with 17 beds. Devon ward is a 12 bedded male PICU (psychiatric intensive care ward for male patients). Additional male PICU beds are available on Coral ward in the Highgate Mental Health Centre. Female PICU beds are available on Ruby ward at the Highgate Mental Health Centre.
