The Role We require an experienced engineer, ideally with a degree in electronics or a related subject. You must have a hands-on attitude and be ready to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have the ability to identify and solve challenges, Turn concepts into reality, You may also get involved in flight team operations when your work may be tested in flight The day-to-day Designing, testing and integration of electronics for UAVs, including, but not limited to, power, MCU, comms, PCB design and hardware testing Take responsibility for your own projects and providing support to other engineers. Troubleshooting of issues that arise during ground/air tests during trials and on the production line. Leading or assisting in fault finding for electronics and software components. Create and maintain documentation. Write engineering reports. Collaborate with other departments to de-conflict integration issues. Instruct technicians on manufacture and testing procedures. Support flight testing and demonstrations in the UK and overseas. You should apply if you Proven technical experience, preferably in UAVs, electronics, mechatronics or aerospace.
