The Role
The Operation Readiness/Commissioning Manager will provide input to project development during FEED, Detailed Design, Operations Readiness, Commissioning, and Start-up phases, ensuring optimal plant operability and maintainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure applicable standards and best practices for safe and efficient operations are included in the FEED package
* Input into LNG Project Detailed Engineering to assure technical integrity and operability
* Contribute to the development of the specific OR&A plan for the project
* Interface and management across all projects to support the commissioning business and ensure operational excellence
* Act as a mentor across all projects, facilitate career paths, and retain personnel
* Manage client interface, communications, project reporting, and satisfaction
* Support the Director with business development, proposal responses, and client engagement
* Facilitate recruitment across all project phases for planning and field execution
* Prepare commissioning strategy, execution plan(s), and deliverables
* Prepare project manpower and cost estimates
* Facilitate project controls and reporting in accordance with client and project contractual responsibilities
* Manage HSSE across all projects
* Coordinate commissioning HSSE training and competency
* Manage lessons learned and continual improvement
* Be an ambassador for Wood Commissioning in accordance with best practices and operational excellence
* Contribute to the delivery of the OR&A plan for the project, focusing on production and maintenance activities
* Analyze and accept operating manuals and procedures
* Develop and accept safety operational management system procedures
* Conduct site visits for Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test
* Participate in design and operations safety case activities
* Develop, review, and approve project design and OR&A deliverables
* Support project in developing and maintaining company operating philosophy and best practices
* Assist in troubleshooting activities for LNG plants/facilities/assets
* Oversee and monitor production and maintenance operations activities of LNG plants/facilities/assets
* Promote actions to improve performance and maintain integrity of producing LNG plants
* Support HR competency team in developing and maintaining company competency philosophy and best practices
* Prepare commissioning philosophy, schedule, and procedures during project execution phase
* Commission and start-up all systems, completing the commissioning work-scope to project specifications
* Execute commissioning procedures directing a team of engineers, technicians, operations personnel, other contractors, and vendor support personnel
* Support system handover and acceptance from construction team
* Report to the project manager on issues regarding commissioning, start-up schedule, and progress
* Interface with client management regarding commissioning and start-up
* Ensure all commissioning resources are utilized cost-effectively
* Define system priority hand over list from construction to commissioning
* Develop and maintain commissioning budget
* Review commissioning test equipment and material take-offs for onshore and offshore execution
* Develop vendor call-out requirements and schedule for specialized vendor-supplied equipment
* Prepare systems for final inspection and hand over to operations team after commissioning procedures are complete
* Assist in evaluation and selection of commissioning team staff members, declare and assign roles and responsibilities
* Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
* Perform other duties as assigned or requested
QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:
* Bachelor's Degree/Diploma or equivalent in process/mechanical engineering or a similar discipline
* Fluent spoken and written English
* Proven knowledge of gas/LNG production process, Inlet Facilities, Acid Gas Removal Dehydration, Compression and Liquefaction, Gas/LNG production systems, and plants
* Minimum 15 years' experience in O&G industry, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in LNG plant operations
* Managerial/Supervisory experience in commissioning and start-up of major LNG plant
* Experience with CMMS tools
* Understanding of mechanical and/or instrumental maintenance disciplines
* Operations/Maintenance knowledge on safety protection systems of gas/LNG plants and process safety management systems
* Experience in loading/unloading & shipping/marine systems and operations for LNG, as well as other products of LNG plants
